(And there was I, planning all sorts of comeback articles. This one is a sort of anticlimax.)

American rock band Foo Fighters have released an Extended Play called “Saint Cecilia”. And the best part? It’s free. Five songs, including the rising-in-popularity “Saint Cecilia”, for legitimate free download at http://www.saintceciliaep.com/ . (Of course, it’s around 1 GB download, so ‘free’ is relative.)

Muse’s bassist Chris Wolstenholme was seen at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend (sorry, I love that radio station) sporting this:

It looks like he’s got diamonds embedded in the dots’ positions. (I hope that’s not the case.)

Danny Wilson’s ‘Mary’s Prayer’

So I was playing this weird game with my friend Shameeka, which involves texting song lyrics back and forth. The lyrics have some semblance of a relationship with each other, so it’s like a very funny chat which is suddenly overtly romantic and suddenly extremely angsty.

So something she sent reminded me of this song I had heard a few times on the radio, which I didn’t know by name. So I did what anybody does–I Googled it. What I searched for, of course, was ‘leave a light on in heaven for me lyrics’, and the results showed up ‘Mary’s Prayer’. And I was like, ‘What? what Mary? what prayer? this is a love song for goodness’ sakes!!’

British rock band Muse has a new CD, Drones, releasing on 5th June. Its album art is rather interesting:
